About Kittens
Kittens are baby cats. They are cute, get into trouble, and keep their eyes closed for the first week of their lives. They need constant care, as during the first several weeks of their lives they are unable to urinate or defecate without stimulation from their mothers.
About Humane Society
The Humane Society of the United States is the nation's largest animal protection organization. They work to improve the lives of all animals by advocating for better laws; investigating animal cruelty?; encouraging corporations to adopt animal-friendly policies; conducting disaster relief and animal rescue; and providing direct care for thousands of animals at sanctuaries, emergency shelters, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and mobile veterinary clinics.
About Check
To check is to examine so as to determine accuracy, quality, or condition; ''check the brakes,'' ''Check out the engine.'' It can also mean to block or impede (a player from the opposing team) in ice hockey. A 'coat check' is where one leaves one's coat at an event. A check is probably best known, however, as a paper note used to bay bills.
