Whitey Houston, born Whitney Elizabeth Houston on August 9, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey, was an American singer, actress, producer, and model who was best known for her music career and her roles as Rachel Marron in 'The Bodyguard,' Savannah Jackson in 'Waiting to Exhale,' Julia Biggs in 'The Preacher's Wife,' and Fairy Godmother in 'Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella.' Houston passed away on February 11, 2012.
