Has Obama helped recover the economy since he took office?
Critics decry the continued recession under Obama's presidency. However, there has been some good news as of late. In March, the unemployment rate fell to 8.8 percent. The Labor Department reported that 216,000 new jobs were added, the biggest two-month jump since before the recession began. ChaCha!

About Obama
Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States, and the first African American president. Born in Hawaii, he is a United States citizen, although he exprienced other cultures as a youth, living with his mother in Indonesia, for example. He graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law school.
