Has there ever been a shark attack on Block Island Rhode Island?
The water can get rough at times but is usually less dangerous and frisky than the south side. That's where the surfers go. I have seen some pretty good sized sharks when I have been kayaking off the beach but to my knowledge they don't come close to shore. In fact I don't recall ever hearing of a shark attack near Block Island. They seem to be more interested in the numerous seals than the stinky humans. ChaCha again soon!
