Soccer star Hope Solo (born July 30th, 1981) grew up in Washington State and played for the U of Washington, in several pro and semi-pro leagues all over the world, and has been part of two Olympic teams. She is a big part of the success of the U.S. Womens National Soccer Team. Hope is 5'9'' and is originally from Richland Washington. ChaCha back soon ya hear!

About Hope Solo

Hope Solo is the goalie for the United States Women's National Soccer Team. Born on July 30, 1981 in Richland, Washington, she has been involved with sports since a young age. Solo played as a forward in high school, moving on to play for the University of Washington Huskies where she settled in as a goalkeeper. In 2000, she moved up to the US National Team. She has played on the U.S. Olympic Team and also started four games in the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She became an international celebrity when her dramatic goal-keeping allowed the U.S. team to win the quarter-final match against Brazil.
