How are fossil fuels formed?
Over millions of years, pressure, bacterial processes, and heat changed fossilized plant and animal remains into oil. Fossil fuels are not considered a renewable energy source and aside from the environmental impact. Combustion of these fossil fuels is considered to be the largest contributing factor to the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere
