How can I hook up an external hard drive to my ps3?
First you need to make sure the external hard drive is formatted to fat32. Once plugged in to the PS3 you should see in the xmb under the headings, music, photos, videos, usb drive. Press the triangle button on the controller to view all and it will bring up the content folders on the drive. And then it should work properly. ChaCha
