How can I tell the difference between staph and boil?
Staph infections can cause a range of illnesses like acne, boils and abscesses. A boil caused by staph looks like a pocket of pus that's red or pink and swollen. Staph boils often clear up in a few weeks and heal without scarring if they are small.
