How can i turn my iPod on in DFU mode?
Open iTunes & plug iPod into computer's USB port. Make sure computer is loud enough to hear it. Hold down Home button (top left) and Power button (front bottom) simultaneously, until screen goes black and the device turns off. Let go of Power button, but continue to hold the Home button. After 10-20 seconds, when you hear a beep from computer, it recognized new hardware device and iTunes should recognize it in DFU mode. iPod display should be blank.
