How can I use the Ethernet port on a Verizon cable box on the back?
The ethernet port on your Verizon box is deactivated. When FiOS came out, they used to run Ethernet between all the devices, but then FiOS embraced MOCA (Multimedia of Coax Alliance) which is basically Ethernet over Coax. It's a lot easier to run, since most homes have coax already. ChaCha on!
