ITunes, click Edit on the menu & go to Preferences. Then to Syncing tab and check beside "Disable automatic synching for all iPods and iPhones". Go to download.com and download a program called iDump. Install this and if your iPod is plugged into your computer, all the music files will automatically show up. Right click and "Select all", then copy all your music files into a new folder on your computer. Open iTunes and put it beside the folder you just copied all the music to. Go into this...
