How can you connect your basic cable audio to your surround sound?
Turn off the power to all components before connecting your AV cables. Connect one HDMI cable from the matching output on the back of the digital cable box to any HDMI input on the back of the surround sound receiver. Plug in the second HDMI cable from the "Video" or "TV" output on the surround sound receiver to any HDMI jack on the HDTV. ChaCha on!
