How could chemotherapy treatments make cancer worse?
What doesn't kill cancer cells makes them stronger. Radiation & chemo destroy cancer cells. About half are cured , but the other half some tumor cells survive treatment. These cancer cells are more aggressive than they were before treatment. ChaCha!

About Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy or Chemo is a cancer treatment which uses chemicals to fight and kill cancer cells. It comes in different forms and can be taken intravenously or orally in a pill form depending on the type and dose needed. Chemo therapy is often invasive and causes serious side effects. It sets out to kill cancer cells but also kills good cells along the way. It cannot determine the good cells from the bad. It must be given in doses because one big dose can actually be fatal.
About Cancer
Cancer is defined as an uncontrolled growth of a group of cells in the body. It can have devastating affects. Some cancers are manageable and even curable, others are terminal. It all depends on the type and location of the tumors or cells. Cancer treatments vary from cancer to cancer. There is chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and a multitude of alternative treatments available. New drugs and treatments are being explored everyday through clinical trials in the United States and other countries.
