About Scuba Diving
SCUBA is an acronym for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. It is an expensive sport, but puts you in very close proximity with an ecosystem we know very little about. SCUBA divers carry a canister of compressed air on their back with a regulator and hose that allows the diver to not only breath underwater, but figure out how much air they has left. Gas is inhaled from the tank and exhaled into the water. Divers usually move about with the assistance of swim fins.
