How did Americans feel about the end of the Korean War?
The Korean War ended with an armistice in 1953 and a formal peace treaty has yet to be made. The Korean War was the first war fought during the Cold War, because communism required tight restrictions on personal freedom/government ownership of business, it threatened the American ideals of individual liberty and free enterprise, so many Americans resented the war.
