How did black friday come to be?
Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) is the kick-off to the Christmas shopping season where stores off huge sales and open really early. It originally described the heavy and annoying traffic while shopping, but then described the sales profits for businesses went from red (bad or little sales) into black (great profit).
