How did conflicts in asia affect politics in the united states?
Conflicts in many parts of Asia have affected politics in the US. During WWII and its aftermath the US became afraid that Communism, especially in China would take over Asia setting us up for involvement in Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia. This effected trade policy and moved most American trade with Asia through Taiwan, Singapore and Japan then Korea.
