How did democratic participation in Japan both grow and stahnate in the 1920's?
In the end, Japan recovered from economic stagnation since World War II. In the 1990's the GDP grew at 1% yearly, compare 4% in the 1980's. Earlier this decade Japan's economic growth steadily grew, but it fell along with global economic conditions.
