How did dr. pepper get its name?
Dr Pepper name was given to honor Dr. Charles T. Pepper who was said to have concocted the drink. The drink was probably introduced to the public on a regular basis about 1885, was first bottled in 1886. ChaCha!

About Dr Pepper
Dr Pepper is America's oldest soft drink brand. It was introduced in 1895 in Waco, Texas by a drug store owner named Wade Morrison, who possibly named the drink after Dr. Charles Pepper, the father of a girl he was once in love with. Dr. Pepper was served in St. Louis at the 1904 World's Fair right along with the first ice cream cones, hot dog rolls and hamburger buns. In 2008 the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group was established and is one of North America's leading beverage, manufacturing, bottling and distribution companies with over 50 brands of sodas, juices, teas, mixers and waters.
