How did Europe enter into ww1?
Before World War I, countries throughout Europe made mutual defense agreements that would pull them into battle. Thus, if one country was attacked, allied countries were bound to defend them. Long-term causes of the war included the imperialistic foreign policies of the great powers of Europe, including the German Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Ottoman Empire.
