Pop singer and cultural icon Michael Jackson died at 3:15 PDT on June 25, 2009. He was 50 years old at the time. Around 12 PDT he suffered a cardiac arrest. His father has filed a wrongful death suit against MJ's concierge doctor Dr. Conrad Murray.

About Dr. Conrad Murray

Dr. Conrad Murray, cardiologist and personal physician, was born on February 19, 1953 in St. Andrews, Grenada. In 1980, he moved to the United States, and in 1999, he opened a private practice. In 2009, Michael Jackson hired Murray as a personal physician for his concert tour. The same year in June, Jackson died of a prescription drug overdose. Since the drugs were prescribed by Dr. Murray, he was tried for involuntary manslaughter and found guilty. He will serve up to four years in jail.
