How did Morocco gain independence?

Morocco Morocco was forced to recognize the French Protectorate in the Treaty of Fez, on 12/3/1912. But the regime faced the opposition of tribes. When the Berber were required to come under the jurisdiction of French courts in 1930 it marked the beginning of the independence movement. In 1944, an independence party was founded. France granted Morocco independence on 3/2/1956.
