How did nickelback get their name?
Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in 1995. Singer Chad Kroeger used to work at a Starbuck's coffee before they made it big, 'Here's your nickle back', was a phrase he would always repeat when handing customers their change, and it stuck.
