How did the French Revolution lead to war with other European nations?
The French Revolution led to war in Europe because the outcomes of the French Revolution, liberte, egalite and fraternite, (the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity) threatened the multi-ethnic empires in Europe at the time, such as the Austro-Hungarian Empire. They did not want these ideas spreading in their lands, which would be threats to the absolute monarchy.
