How did the Kelly-bessemer process help make iron an steel production better?

Rate This Answer

Kelley Bessemet process- The idea of blowing air through the melt. The burning carbon kept the liquid hot and saved fuel. He held the temperature of the melt by burning out the carbon. It also stopped the blow of air at just the right moment to leave some carbon in place and to de-oxidize the steel before it was poured.
