How did the lost city of Atlantis get underwater?
Sorry for the confusion. Atlantis is a legendary island. Some people believe it existed or that the legend was based upon fact, but its existence has never been proven. In some myths, the island was sunk by a great earthquake. In others, after a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune." ChaCha on!
