Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988 in London, England) known as Adele is a Neo-Soul, RnB singer-songwriter. She was signed to XL Recordings, attracting their attention with a 3-song demo posted on MySpace, she then released her 1st album '19', which went to #1 in the UK and her career in the US was boosted by a viewer record breaking SNL episode in late '08, then in '09, she won 2 Grammys, including Best New Artist.
