How did the USA help West Berlin during the Cold War?
The Berlin Blockade (24 June 1948 - 12 May 1949) was one of 1st international crises of Cold War. During the multinational occupation of post-WWII Germany, Soviet Union blocked Western Allies' railway & road access to sectors of Berlin under Allied control. In response, Western Allies (including US) organized the Berlin Airlift to carry supplies to people in West Berlin.
