How do communist countries elect their new leader?
Communist countries don't really elect their new leaders. That is part of the problem. Communism, as we have seen in the world, is led by a dictator. Initially, the dictator may rise to power through what seems like an election (but it is usually rigged in his favor.) Once in power, they remain there and usually pass down the title to a relative or chosen individual.
