How do fish mature in a pond that was dried up?
A fish is not able to live outside of a water environment because the oxygen a fish needs to breathe is formed in a water environment. The fish will breathe the oxygen in through the gills that can be found on the side of the fishes body. Therefore fish are not able to mature in an environment outside of water.
