How do I come out to my parents?
Coming out and admitting to someone that you're gay or bisexual can be a very difficult process. Be prepared for multiple reactions and how you will respond to those. Be honest and explain your perspective. Homosexuals who have come out show higher rates of happiness and higher self-esteem. You should not 'out' anyone without their approval.

Being straight forward is the best way to tell your parents that you are gay. Give them some time to accept what you tell them.

Do it at a time when everyone is in a good mood, when you think they will be receptive to you, and if necessary have supporters.
