Use the Explorer Kit to visit the Underground. There, you can dig up fossils in the walls, and possibly find the Armor Fossil.

About Pokemon Platinum
Pokemon Platinum is an enhanced remake and combination of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for Nintendo DS. It was released in North America on March 22, 2009 and sold over 7 million copies in Japan.
