How do I open a MS-DOS prompt?
To open MS-DOS prompt in Windows XP, click the "Start" button on the lower left side of the screen. Click the "Run" option in the "Start" menu. Type cmd in the text box that appears. Press the "Enter" key. In Vista, click the "Start" button on the lower left side of the screen. Type cmd in the text box at the bottom of the menu. Press the "Enter" key. ChaCha!
