How do I remove printer ink from paper without using whiteout?

You can dilute one tbsp. of hydrochloric acid (also known as Spirit of Salts) in five tbsps. of water. Allow the solution to sit on the paper for two minutes. Wipe the solution away with a dampened cotton ball. The toner ink should wipe away as well.
