How do I start a political party?
To start a political party, decide on a name for the party and appoint temporary officials. Register the name of your party with the secretary of the state's office and elect permanent officials. Register at least 1% of eligible voters. They must sign an affidavit of registration and it has to be filed with the secretary of the state 154 days before the primary election.
