Acne is caused by a blockage of the skin's pores. The blockage is caused by excess oils and a build up of keratin (a protein that makes up skin structures). ChaCha again!

Pores become clogged if there is too much sebum and too many dead skin cells. Bacteria can then get trapped causing acne. ChaCha!
