How do they get singers or rappers that have died long ago to sing with new artist like aaliyah or tupac?
They just use tracks that were recorded while they were alive and mix them with new stuff.

About Aaliyah
Aaliyah was born in New York, but raised in Detroit, getting her first big break in the industry when she appeared on ''Star Search'' in 1983. She lived a normal life through her high school years, but found her way into the music industry after meeting R.Kelly, and producing her first album, 'Age Aint Nothing But A Number.' After a short marriage and anullment with R.Kelly at the age of 15, she went on to produce her sophomore album, 'One In A Million.' Aaliyah successfully topped the Billboard charts, but died at the young age of 22 in a tragic plane crash.
