About Vans Warped Tour
The Vans Warped Tour is a traveling festival that features a wide range of punk, emo and hip hop groups. Each band on the tour is given a 30-minute set time and they often play on revolving stages to make it seem like everyone is equal. The tour was founded in 1995 by promoter Kevin Lyman, and the first few years featured only a small group of bands. It has since transformed into a massive corporate event that has over 100 bands perform each day.
