How do you become a jeans maker?
To become a jeans maker, you need to first come up with a design, and then you need to make a prototype of the jeans you would like to make. You can show this to potential buyers or financial backers so you can get the money to make more jeans and get them into stores. This was a story line on season one of How To Make it In America on HBO, maybe you should check it out!

About Jeans
Jeans are pants made from cotton fibers woven in to a material called denim. The American blue jean was invented by Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss in 1873, and designed for the working man. Denim became popular among teenagers in the 1950's and are still popular today. Denim is available in many fits and styles from straight leg, to skinny, to slim straight, boot cut, flare, or baggy. According to Wikipedia, Americans spent more than $14 billion on jeans in 2004 and $15 billion in 2005.
