How do you become a police officer in San Francisco, California?
The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) has been in existence since 1849. The first thing you want to do is get familiarized with the city San Francisco and the duties of a police officer. You must be 20 years old and a U.S. Citizen. You must have a valid drivers license. You can not apply for the exam if you have been convicted of a felony in California.
