How do you change your nat type from strict to open on gears of war 3?
Network Address Translation or NAT types describe the state of your connection to Xbox LIVE as mediated by your wired or wireless network router (also referred to as port forwarding). You will need to open the ports via your router, if you give us the exact model of your wiereless router, we can find out instructions specific to that model. Basically, you need to open/forward the following ports: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP)

About Gears of War 3
Gears of War 3 is an upcoming third person shooter that will conclude the Gears of War trilogy. Originally set to release in April 2011, the game was pushed back to its final release date of September 20, 2011. An open beta for the game took place in April which helped Gears 3 to set an Xbox 360 pre-order record. The most exciting new feature is the improved 'Horde' mode, but critics also praised the campaign's storyline.
