How do you clear an ipods memory completely?
To clear an iPod's memory completely, open iTunes and then connect your iPod to your computer using an iPod-specific USB cord. When a connection between your computer and the device has been established, a small iPod icon will appear in iTunes' left pane. Click on this iPod icon. Information about the device will pop up in the center pane, including how much data is used and what version of the iPod firmware is installed. Click the Restore button.
