How do you combine a bread recipe with a cake recipe?

Banana Bread recipe 1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix, used dry 3 eggs, beaten 2 cups mashed very ripe bananas, about 3 or 4 Combine all ingredients until moistened. Beat with a mixer for 3 to 4 minutes until well blended. Divide evenly between 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 55 to 60 minutes or until it tests done with a wooden pick.

There really is no standard formula for combining a bread and a cake recipe. It will depend on the ingredients involved in each one & also what you are looking for in an end product. ChaCha!

You could make banana bread cake. Here are the instructions. Cream shortening and sugar until light. Add one egg at a time, beat well after each addition. Stir in bananas. Sift together flour, soda and salt, add to banana mixture. Mix just until blended. Pour into greased 9x9x2 inch pan for cake or 2 small loaf pans for bread. Bake in moderate 350 degrees oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool before cutting. For 9x13 inch cake pan, double the recipe.
