How do you compare and contrast the two upper layers of the mantle?

Rate This Answer

The inner mantle for the biggest part probably consists of sulphides and oxides of silicon and magnesium. The outer mantle is tough liquid rock and probably consists of silicates of iron and magnesium, as it is so far down we do not know too many specifics. ChaCha on!
