How do you configure a valid IP address?
In Network Connections, find your connection to the internet. Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Click properties button. Both Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address should be selected. Click Use the following IP address: and enter IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway. Click Use the following DNS server addresses and enter that information.
