How do you convert 1080p signal to 720p from a PC to a LCD TV through VGA cable?
Many flat-panel televisions will not accept a VGA signal higher than 1366 x 768 pixels. This is sufficient for 720p HD, ChaCha on!

About 1080p
1080p is a specification of HDTVs referring to the resolution of the HDTV. Known also as "full HD", the term 1080p means that an HDTV displays 1,080 lines of horizontal resolution in progressive scan (simultaneously displaying every line of resolution, contrasted to 1080i, or "interlaced").
