How do you create a server in Minecraft 1.8?
You need to download the Minecraft Server form the Minecraft downloads page, then unpack it into a chosen directory, configure it according to the documentation found inside and run it. About Minecraft
Minecraft is an indie open-world game by Markus Persson (Mojang Specifications) that involves players collecting, combining, and building blocks to make unique structures and to fend off enemies. The game is currently in pre-release beta phase, but has many servers available to play and officially releases on November 18, 2011. A version was also released for Android smartphones and the iPhone, and the Xbox 360 version is set to arrive in early 2012.
