How do you finance car payments with a part time job i make roughly $400 a month, is it reasonable to get a new car if I'm a high schooler with that salary?
As a high school student, if you are under the age of 18, you are not legally able to purchase a car on your own. You would need a parents assistance. With a parent, if you purchased a $15,000 car and put down $2000 and financed the car for 5 years, your monthly payments would be $245. It's doable, but your insurance would cost several hundred dollars per month. ChaCha!
