How do you find a sides of a right triangle when only the hypotenuse and one angle is given?
In a right triangle, c2=a2 + b2 where c2 is the hypotenuse squared and "a" and "b" are each side of the triangle. Remember the hypotenuse is the length of the triangle opposite the right angle. Rearrange the formula so the hypotenuse c = the square root of a2 + b2.
