How do you find the magnitude of a vector?

Rate This Answer

The magnitude of a vector is found by solving: r = (SQRT)[x^2+y^2+z^2] The mag of vectors can't in general be added algebraically. If you vector is in the form a i + b j + c k the magnitude is SQRT(a (sqared) + b (squared) + c(squared)). ChaCha!
